Green Canyon is one of the beautiful place in Indonesia. It is located in Kertasyasa Village Cijulang Pangandaran West Java. Green Canyon based on local name is Cukang Taneuh or Land Bridge. This place is not pale before Pangandaran Beach or Batukaras Beach. Why people named like that? because above the valley there is a huge bridge from the land that bridge between Kertayasa Village and Batukaras Village.
This name of green canyon firstly introduce by the french man tourist in 1993. He was amazed by the beauty of this place and it's river that has green color, so he called it green canyon because has inspired by he grand canyon in USA.
Green Canyon is a beautiful river that through the cave that full of a cave characteristic and its between two hills the decorate by the natural stones and the green of plants and the calm flow of water, all of them resulting the beautiful scenery. To go to this place you can go by using the boat by renting from the local people. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the journey and go diving there. All of the activities can be done by all of the tourist happily while losing our stresses because of our daily life.
It is a better suggestion for all you if want to go to Green Canyon, you have to go there better in dry season, why? Because in the dry season all the beauty of this place will come out, but if you go there in the rainy season the water has brown color and little dirty, and the water flow is too swift and can be harmful for all of the tourists.
Talking the accommodation that ready in this place, in this place is available the Inn and the food store. And about the access to this place, from Pangandaran Beach you have to go to Cijulang, and then go to Ciseureuh Quay, from there you have to rent the boat from the local people. All of them can be done by using personal transportation or genera; transportation.
