Kampung Naga

Kampung Naga is one of the beautiful place in Indonesia  exactly in Tasikmalaya West Java. The people of this village is still hold the tradition strongly. They avoid the intervention from outside for being destroy their tradition in whole live. Unfortunately, their fore father is still mysterious think until now. 

Kampung Naga is located in Neglasari Villlage, Salawu Subdistrict and Tasikmalaya Regency West Java. This village is surrounded by beautiful scenery and only just 311 people stayed here and they still untouched by modern live. So it can be a unique place and life in Indonesia especially in West Java. 

Kampung Naga can be said as a virgin village, because it has clean fresh air, beautiful scenery, beautiful trees around there, and fertilize valley. In the west side, there are a holy cemetery where their fore fathers laid to rest. In other side we can enjoy the beautiful of Ciwulang river where it water still keep from the dirty and pollution. One that you to remember, in this village all you are forbidden to listen the music hardly or another electronic devices. But do not be disappointed as an alternative you will listen the beautiful twitter from the birds that live freely in there.

One of The unique of Kampung Naga  is about their home. Their home must be made from wood and bamboo, the roof must be made from palm fiber leaves, the floor must be made from wood, the wall must be made from woven bamboo, and many that some think different. The other unique about their home are that their home must be faced to the north side, and do not use the material wall using stonewall.

Talking about their Home interior, their home are forbidden using chair, table, and bedroom and many other. Beside that, the door's position is forbidden in a straight position (front door and back door). They regard that fortune which come front door will not go out to the back door.

So if you want go to there and stay for long time, you have to ask for permission to the local officer in there a few days before. And do not forget in this village is available for the souvenir too.
